With number stairs you have to 'investigate the relationship between the stair total and the position of the stair shape on the grid'. You can change the grid size and the step size - in fact to get good marks it's good to change all (but not at the same time!)

a rectangular prism is called a cuboid
the surface area of any prism is the area of the two ends plus the perimeter of the end x the length.
