You will need the following equipment:

General

Paper, pencil, pens, coloured pencils, pencil sharpener, eraser


Mathematical

Calculator (must have fraction button, square root, sin, tan and cos on it)














Ruler 30 cm (clear prefered)

Compass - the one with a pencil not the one showning North
Protractor (360° preferred)

Have a go at plotting the line before watching the video
1. (a) Plot the graph y = 2x + 1
(b) Use your graph to find y when x = 2.5
(c) From the graph find the value of x when y = 4.
