It's coursework time!

With number stairs you have to 'investigate the relationship between the stair total and the position of the stair shape on the grid'. You can change the grid size and the step size - in fact to get good marks it's good to change all (but not at the same time!)

Prisms

Remember:

• a prism is a three-dimensional shape with the same cross section all the way along it.
• a circular prims is called a cylinder
• a rectangular prism is called a cuboid
• the surface area of any prism is the area of the two ends plus the perimeter of the end x the length.
• the volume of a prism is the area of the end x its length
• the perimeter of a circle is caled the circumference (= pi x D)
